FAQs

How does Sherry cook her bagels?

Sherry’s Bagels are hand made from kneading to rolling, boiling and baking. Each batch is started and completed with full attention which means these bagels are not mass produced. At maximum, Sherry produces 3-4 dozen bagels from evening through morning: creating the dough, shaping the bagels, allowing them to ferment for at least 12 hours, boiling them and finally baking in the oven, one tray at a time.

How much do these artisan bagels and other goods cost?

Sherry’s Bagels is principally about building community through breaking bread together. Purchase a bag of 4 bagels for $12 at the Porch Pick-Up. No singles.

What is the Bagel Bite?

The dough and the baking process is exactly the same, however you will get approximately one-quarter size of a bagel. I like to top the bits with Za’atar and then suggest you dip it in olive oil. This is the special BDS Bagel Bit -named for the Boycott-Divest - and Sanction movement.
